Palace of Culture and Science. Palace of Culture and Science is the tallest building in our country. The Palace has 237 meters. The building was built  in the 1955 according to project of soviet architect Lew Rudniew. The Palace is inspired by russian skyscrapers. Inside the building there is located many usefull things like theaters cinemas  or even a college. Also there are organized many events. The inventor of the Palace of Culture and Science was Joseph Stalin. He said that is the gift from Soviet nation. The architect Lew Rudniew traveled around Poland to get to know something about polish architecture because he wanted to make the Palace more Polish than Russian styled. Russian people were also involved into building the Palace. Palace of Culture and Science now is the most known building in Warsaw.

Burj Khalifa. Burj Khalifa is the tallest building on the globe with 829 meters. It is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The structure started in 2004 and ended five years later. Adrian Smith the American architect Who designed Burj Khalifa also designed a a lot of another well known buildings like Trump Tower in Chicago or Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai. He is also responsible for next tallest building in the world, Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia which is going to open in 2020. The design of this skyscreaper is inspired of Islamic culture and architecture (for example ornaments). The Building have 163 floors which includes hotels, homes, restaurants, shops and even a viewpoint situaited 555 meters above the floor. Total cost of this project was 1.5 billion dollars.
